Fried Lasagna Bites
This was a bit of an interesting recipe, it took multiple days due to the need to freeze it so that it can be properly sliced up and for the flour treatment for the final frying up. Probably not really worth all the effort but it's definitely a fun side dish presentation piece for a party. (The included marinara recipe is quite nice too.)
The construction start with layering up the cheese, sauce and noodles switching the direction of the noodles:
Eventually one all the layers get wrapped up tight in plastic wrap and then frozen
Then you carefully slice them up and put them back in the freezer:
Where they come out warm and crunchy:
