Sixth up in the Lasagna project is
Lasagna With Kale Pesto
This will be the first entry in which I didnt completely follow the recipe, as we had no kale on hand but a lots of spinach, I made a substitution in the green in the pesto.
Overall this was a much better pesto based lasagna then previous ones I've tried as the 4 cups of a simple tomato sauce, and mixing the pesto into the ricotta spread the flavors and noodles out. plus made the layering look very nice.
And assembly was quick and simple.
Overall nothing particularly special but it was very nice.

The browned layer of mozzarella on top meant for a very pretty look out of the oven.
