Nineteenth up in the Lasagna project is
Ethiopian Lasagna
This was an interesting change in the spices and cheeses of the standard meat lasagna featuring the "Berbere" spice mix, which was new to me, and some smoked paprika. Definitely one to try, and might be interesting to swap in some Teff noodles.
Another change was I had a friend (Derek) join me in cooking starting with this one so we were swapping photos back and forth while each following along.
First up the onions, tomatoes and scallions.
The meat and spices result in a lovely color.
Oddly the cheeses are Cheddar and mozzarella.
This has been one of my favourite ones so far.
